This book was written for my Health Education and Physical Education in Elementary Schools course. The objective of the assignment was to create a children's book that educates the reader about a specific health topic, and I chose sun safety. Leo the lion and his friend Ryan help a lost baby hippopotamus find her mother, while learning a valuable lesson about how to stay safe during the summer heat. This book was written for ages 7-10.

This book was written for extra credit for my Fundamentals of Language and Literacy Instruction I course. This story follows a dog and a frog who encounter a pond together! Completely decodable, this book is written for first-grade students who have mastered all of their short vowels.
